Hoopla collection contains digital music, digital audiobooks, electronic comic books, electronic books, movies, e-magazines, and tv episodes available for viewing or downloading. ARLS customers get 4-6 checkouts total a month.Check out the various BingePasses to get the most out of your borrows!
Select Appomattox Regional Library System as your home library. You will have to enter your library card number, a password, and a valid email.
Libby
Overdrive became Libby in 2023! If you’re having trouble with the Overdrive app you need to download the new Libby app.
Libby contains digital audiobooks, e-books, and comic books. You can either read or listen to content on the app or connect it to your kindle account through Amazon.
ARLS is part of a larger consortium of Southern Virginia Libraries United Electronically or SoVALUE. ARLS customers get 6 checkouts at once. Titles check out for 7, 14 or 21 days. You can select the time period when you borrow it! If you finish a title early you can also return it early by selecting “Manage Loan” and then “Return Early.” This is especially important on busy hold titles.

Digital magazine collection provided through WT Cox. Provides access to over 4000 magazines.
