Discover Local History

ARLS is proud to preserve and share the rich history of Hopewell, Prince George County, and Dinwiddie County. Through the generous support of Anne and Preston Leake, we are able to digitize and provide access to primary documents, photographs, and slides.These materials are available in the Ann K. and Preston H. Leake Local History and Genealogy Room on the second floor of the Hopewell Library. While the collection is not available for checkout, it can be viewed on-site by appointment.
