The APPOMATTOX REGIONAL LIBRARY SYSTEM is currently accepting applications for the following position:
Administrative and Personnel Services Manager: Major responsibilities are: hiring, training and evaluating other administrative staff; assisting in hiring process, including serving on interview committees and preparation of interview materials; assisting in processing payroll, financial and tax reports; providing basic accounting services to maintain library’s financial and employee records; preparing meeting agendas, information packets, and correspondence to board; maintenance of manuals. Bachelor Degree in business administration or related field and five years of increasing responsibility in supervision and management; or any equivalent combination of acceptable education and experience providing the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Experience in human resources preferred.
