Exhibit: Old Hopewell Images from the LHGC

Visit Old Hopewell and celebrate its 100th anniversary  courtesy of two postcard collections recently donated to the Local History and Genealogical Collection at the Hopewell Library.  The postcards and other images were donated by Mrs. Rae Blaha and by Del and Thomas Williams. This exhibit and will be on display through the summer on the first floor of the Hopewell Library.

The  postcards depict historical buildings and street scenes from the first half of Hopewell history, 1915 to 1966. The large framed pictures were donated by Mrs. Rae Blaha in memory of her husband Frank J. Blaha, Jr., a well known local businessman and civic leader. The small framed pictures were donated by Del Williams and had belonged to her husband, Thomas Williams.
