Reading Along The Appomattox!

Reading Along The Appomattox returns for the third year. Our selection for 2017 is "Hidden Figures" by Margot Lee Shetterly, which explores the role of African American women in the NASA "space race" of the 1960's.

As part of the community read, this book is the October selection for all our book groups.

We will be screening this acclaimed film with outstanding performances by Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, Janelle Monae and Kevin Costner at the Hopewell Library. This movie is rated PG, appropriate for family viewing.
