following is an Index of Obituaries that have
appeared in the Hopewell News. This is an
ongoing project that began in 2000. The
Hopewell News has been in existence since 1926 and
we hope to have other decades included very
soon.
This database does
not contain actual obituaries. A search will
produce a list of Last name, First name, Middle
Initial, Date and the page number where the
obituary will be found in the Hopewell News.

letter of last name.
If you would like a
copy of the actual obituary as it appeared in the
newspaper please visit our Headquarters library in
Hopewell. If you cannot visit our library
please contact us and we will do our best to fill
your request for copies.

database has been brought to you through the diligence
and hard work of ARLS staff and volunteers.
Under the supervision of Mrs. Jeanie Langford the
newspapers were searched daily and the following
data compiled. Data entry was overseen by
Mr. Willie Bell. Through their hard work and
dedication we are pleased to bring our patrons
this database.
