Renowned speaker and co-author of The Charismatic Organization: 8 Ways to Grow a Nonprofit, Shirley Sagawa, comes to the Tri-cities to help kick-off Southside Community Partners’ newest offering, Hot Topics, a series of book discussion and author talks. Shirley, co-founder of the Sagawa/Jospin consulting firm, was named a “Woman to Watch in the 21st Century,” by Newsweek, and one of the “Most Influential Working Mothers in America” by Working Mother. She is currently with the Center for America Progress. Shirley has served as a presidential appointee in both the first Bush and Clinton Administrations. She is a graduate of Smith College, the London School of Economics and Harvard Law School, where she served on the Harvard Law Review.
Light refreshments will be provided. Cash bar also will be available. Books will be on-hand for purchase.
