Poetry, Prose & Pizza at Prince George Library

POETRY, PROSE & PIZZAThe Hopewell/Prince George Friends of the Library invite you to an evening of “Poetry, Prose, and Pizza” at the Prince George Library, 6605 Courts Drive, on Thursday, January 30, at 6:00 p.m. Luca’s Italian Restaurant and the Friends of the Library provide refreshments and Nathan Richardson, Virginia author and poet from the Suffolk area, hosts this community gathering.

Mr. Richardson founded the “Poetry, Prose, and Pizza” program in the Chesapeake area of Virginia, as an open mic event that allows participants to share their own poetry or prose or recite favorite selections from other writers. This quarterly program continues to draw new talent and new fans. Participants may register for 5 minutes of mic time when they arrive at the library. This event is open to all ages and registration is not required.
