Throughout our Summer Reading Program, all branches of the ARLS have
been taking entries for the Sea Creatures art contest and the art that has been submitted has been outstanding. This contest was a way for youth to express themselves by creating art to go along with our “Hook a Book” and “Make Waves” themes and we are pleased to be able to showcase these talented artists on August 12th.
Local artists will be judging the submitted art and will name winners in three age categories. Artists need not be present to win. For more information on this and other programming at the library, please call 804-861-0322.
